On-line Sequential Multichannel Blind Deconvolution: a Deflation Approach
نویسندگان
چکیده
We present a simple but efficient and powerful extension of standard Bussgang-type blind equalization algorithms that is able to extract multiple source signals from their unknown convolutive mixtures. The extraction of source signals one by one using a deflation approach is proposed. A new adaptive deflation algorithm which can cancel the contribution of already extracted source signals, is derived. This approach can adopt any blind equalization algorithm (which can extract a single source). Furthermore, it can be also applied to the case when we do not know the number of source signals in advance. Extensive computer simulation results confirm the validity and high efficiency of our proposed method.

Super-exponential methods for multichannel blind deconvolution
Multichannel blind deconvolution has received increasing attention during the last decade. Recently, Martone [3, 4] extended the super-exponential method proposed by Shalvi and Weinstein [1, 2] for single-channel blind deconvolution to multichannel blind deconvolution. However, the Martone extension suffers from two type of serious drawbacks. The objective of this paper is to obviate these draw...
متن کاملSuper-exponential Methods Incorporated with Higher-Order Correlations for Deflationary Blind Equalization of MIMO Linear Systems
The multichannel blind deconvolution of finite-impulse response (FIR) or infinite-impulse response (IIR) systems is investigated using the multichannel super-exponential deflation methods. In the conventional multichannel super-exponential deflation method [4], the socalled “second-order correlation method” is incorporated in order to estimate the contributions of an extracted source signal to ...
متن کاملA super-exponential deflation method incorporated with higher-order correlations for blind deconvolution of MIMO linear systems
The multichannel blind deconvolution of finite-impulse response (FIR) or infinite-impulse response (IIR) systems is investigated using the multichannel super-exponential deflation methods (MSEDMs). In the existing MSEDM, the so-called ‘‘second-order correlation method’’ is incorporated in order to estimate the contributions of an extracted source signal to the channel outputs. We propose a new ...
متن کاملNon-negative Matrix Factorization Approach to Blind Image Deconvolution
A novel approach to single frame multichannel blind image deconvolution is formulated recently as non-negative matrix factorization (NMF) problem with sparseness constraint imposed on the unknown mixing vector. Unlike most of the blind image deconvolution algorithms, the NMF approach requires no a priori knowledge about the blurring kernel and original image. The experimental performance evalua...
متن کاملGeneralized mutual information approach to multichannel blind deconvolution
In this paper, we propose an approach to the multichannel blind deconvolution problem, based on the mutual information criterion and more generally on an appropriate system of estimating equations. Formulas for the quasiNewton algorithm and the asymptotic covariance matrix of the estimator are provided. More interesting results have been obtained in the pure deconvolution case. By a clever para...
